The I.D.E.A Project is Tesala's flagship initiative, designed to introduce children aged 8–12 to the exciting and limitless possibilities of Artificial Intelligence. We believe that the earlier children are exposed to emerging technologies, the more equipped they will be to innovate, adapt, and lead in the digital age.
Through a combination of hands-on workshops, interactive challenges, and creative problem-solving activities, participants learn:
- The fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and how it impacts daily life
- Basic coding and machine learning concepts in a fun, engaging way
- How AI can be used to solve real-world problems in their communities
- Critical thinking, collaboration, and ethical considerations in technology
Our approach is play-based yet purposeful, ensuring that learning is not only exciting but also deeply impactful. By fostering curiosity and confidence in young minds, the I.D.E.A Project is planting seeds for a new generation of innovators, technologists, and change-makers who will drive Africa’s future.
