Role Overview
Tesala International is seeking a Project Manager (Volunteer) to oversee and support the smooth coordination of its programs and team operations. This role is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about effective teamwork, project delivery, and social impact.
The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed on schedule, team goals are achieved, and communication across the organization remains efficient and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the progress of ongoing projects and team deliverables.
- Support in planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones and reports.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, updates, and reviews to ensure alignment.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, workplans, and status summaries.
- Ensure accountability and smooth collaboration across teams and departments.
- Identify workflow challenges and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with Tesala’s operational standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of proven experience in project management or team coordination, preferably within the non-profit, development, or training sector.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities including grant writing.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Google Workspace).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- A genuine interest in youth empowerment, employability, and workforce development.
